What To Know About Planning A Trip To Oregon

No matter what you’re looking for in a vacation trip, Oregon has you covered. For those that are looking for natural adventure, there are so many options, ranging from fishing and rafting, and even camping in the highly preserved national parks and untouched forests. This state remains one of the few truly rusting environments in the country, and has done an excellent job at discouraging over-development in the commercial area. Regardless of how seasoned you are, there is room for everyone, even the family and children can come to enjoy the beautiful scenery and activities that Oregon has to offer. Some of the best fishing in the country can be done there, and they are well known for their Salmon. Aside from that, you could look into organizing a deal with a specialized rafting organization to take you on a fun, challenging trip down the most popular rivers in Oregon. Oregon rafting trips are considered to be some of the most rewarding experiences that you can have, as rafting provides not only a challenging learning experience, but also the enjoyment of the great outdoors, the forests and the beautiful white water rapids. Don’t worry so much if you happen to be a beginner, as there are plenty of beginner rapids available to choose from. You should make sure that the company you choose to do business with is reputable and properly licensed.

There are of course enough cities to be found in the state, should you wish to move into a more civilized area and enjoy the different urban attractions. The state is well known for its farming and delicious organic food, so you should be sure to try it out at some point during your trip. You will certainly have one of the most enjoyable experiences in your life.

Find Vacation Fun at Silver Dollar City

If you’re looking for a cool vacation idea, then look no further than Silver Dollar City. Located just outside of Branson Missouri, this vacation destination has something for everyone in your family, from the history buff to the thrill seeker. Here’s a quick look at some of the attractions and things that Silver Dollar City has to offer.
Marvel Cave
This Silver Dollar City attraction is called Marvel Cave for a very good reason. Descending almost 500 feet into the ground, it boasts the largest cave entrance room in the United States. You walk down, taking in the sights and the marvels of the cave and exit using a cable train.
Craftsmen
Silver Dollar City started off as a destination to see craftsmen and artisans creating and making their wares. While the theme park is much more than that today, you can still see over 100 craftsmen demonstrating their talent as they create right in front of your eyes. Wood working, glass works, candy and jewelry are just a few of the things you will see being created.
Rides
If you are more into thrill seeking, Silver Dollar City has some amazing rides that will get your heart rate elevated. You can take in the American Plunge, which will see you taking a leisurely boat ride through Ozarks – until you take a 50 drop as part of the ride. Or you can hit Electro Spin, where you’ll spin around at high speed while rising 50 feet in the air on what can only be described as a large sombrero. There are also some family themed rides, such as Flooded Mine and Frisco Silver Dollar Line Steam Train.
Silver Dollar City has something for everyone. And with all the amazing sites and attractions, you’ll have a blast visiting it.
