Creating a Scrapbooking Layout

For the past three years, I have been really interested in scrapbooking. My best friend introduced me to scrapbooking and since that day, I have been looking at my family pictures in a different light. Now, whenever I have my camera in hand, I am always thinking about what kind of shots would look good in a scrapbook and what kind of layouts I can come up with. In fact, today I have been taking the time to work on some scrapbooking page layouts for the day I took our children to the zoo.
Just like many kids, a trip to the zoo is just about the perfect thing for our family to do. Not only do the kids get some fresh air and exercise, but they also get the opportunity to see a multitude of animals. This experience gets them to learn as well, and we try to make it to the zoo at least twice per year.
We had the opportunity to go to the zoo just a couple of months ago and I took our camera along for the ride. Even though many people would think that the pictures would be the best part of the day, I really loved the ostrich feathers that we brought home. I really saw some potential with them in the scrapbooking pages that I was going to make to commemorate the day.
So I have been tinkering around with them and I think that I have the perfect layout ready. I have decided on the four pictures that I will be putting on the page, the embellishments that I will be using and the perfect spot for the feathers. If this page turns out like I see it in my head, it will be the best scrapbooking layout that I have ever created.
